Trip Itinerary

We will have a fun and informative guided tour on arrival followed by approx. 3 hours of free time. Your guide will show you the highlights of York (such as the York Minster, the Shambles and Clifford’s Tower) while recommending things to do in your free time so you can make the most of your visit.

Walk difficulty: Easy. Some cobbled streets.

variations on the trip

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan and British weather can be changeable. If the guides deem the area to be too flooded, icy or if there are extreme high winds or heavy rain we may offer an alternative to York which would be to visit the nearby town of Harrogate – famous for its afternoon tea….yummy. We do believe in getting outside and enjoying the outdoors, so please come prepared as if it is simply raining -we will get wet (and have a great time doing so!).
