Trip Itinerary

We will enjoy a scenic walk up a popular path on Mount Snowdon (1 hour up and 1 hour down) where we will enjoy incredible views. Then we will travel by coach 20 minutes to the village of Betws-y-Coed. Here you’ll have free time for lunch with further options to enjoy the river views and lovely pubs and shops. finally We will travel 10 minutes to the stunning waterfalls at Swallow Falls (entrance included).

walk difficulty: Moderate – flat paths but walking time is 2 hours. Steep and sometimes slippy steps at Swallow Falls, rock Terrain by the river at Betsw-y-Coed.

variations on the trip

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan and British weather can be changeable. If the guides deem the area to be too flooded, icy or if there are extreme high winds or extreme rain we may offer an alternative to Snowdon which would be a shorter walk near the Ogwen Valley or Llyn Padarn . We do believe in getting outside and enjoying the outdoors so if it’s simply raining, please come prepared as we will get wet (and have a great time doing so!).
