Trip Itinerary

We will have some quizzes and ice breakers on the coach on the way, with a pick up in Manchester. After check-in we will have a fully guided tour of Edinburgh with all the views, all the iconic stops and a few surprises along the way! During the evening you will have options for meals and a night out should you wish to stay with the group. Sunday is a free day and some opt to hike up to Arthur’s seat for a fantastic view over the city or simply explore the city and Edinburgh Castle.

Walk difficulty: Moderate. Some steep streets and steps. Optional hike with a climb, muddy and rocky terrain

variations on the trip

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan and British weather can be changeable. If the guides deem the area to be too flooded, icy or if there are extreme high winds or heavy rain we may offer an alternative to Mam Tor which would be to visit the town of Bakewell – famous for the Bakewell Tart….yummy. We do believe in getting outside and enjoying the outdoors so if it’s simply raining, please come prepared as we will get wet (and have a great time doing so!).
